- Dr. Dibya Nandan Mishra is an Assistant Professor at NIT Silchar. Prior to this he worked as Assistant Professor at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune in the area of Business Analytics and as an assistant professor and program director (MBA - Business Analytics) at Woxsen University, Hyderabad. He has completed his Ph.D. in Management at NIT Rourkela specializing in marketing and business analytics. Dibya's specific areas of expertise and interest are Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, HR Analytics, marketing management, Marketing research, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Service marketing, Consumer experience and Behavior, and Hospitality and Tourism. He has the experience and feels comfortable using Java, Python, R/RStudio, and Tableau among others. Dibya is an experienced founder and market researcher with an industry experience of more than 8 years. As a founder and educator at Dibya Classes, he pioneered the use of IoT to develop the learning skills of K-12 students in Steel City Rourkela. The startup was selected in the top 3000 in India at the IIM Calcutta Smart Fifty initiative. Dibya has worked as a Senior Associate with Infiniti Research Ltd. showing strong analytical and root cause analysis skills in solving clients' problems through data-driven marketing research. Dibya has a strong education background with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) focused in Finance, General from Christ University, Bangalore, and B.Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation from BPUT, Rourkela.
